In 1974, Bank of Nebraska made a commitment to serve the financial needs of the La Vista community making it the first and oldest financial institution in this area. At the time, La Vista was in its early stages of development. In the beginning, we primarily offered personal banking services, but as the area business community evolved, so did the commercial services of the bank. Reaffirming its commitment to the community, the bank expanded adding a mortgage center in 1980, a new branch location in 1998 entering the west Omaha market, and a Bellevue branch location in 2006. Today, Bank of Nebraska remains one of the driving forces in hometown banking. We focus on building relationships, not sales. The La Vista area and surrounding communities continue to expand and so does Bank of Nebraska. We currently have locations serving La Vista, Ralston, Papillion, Bellevue and Omaha . We offer a full range of retail, community and commercial banking products.
